  • Help us reach you quickly if we detect suspicious activity on your account or have important information to share.
  • In our app: Tap More > Settings icon > My Settings > Contact Information > Edit.
  • We’ll notify you of deposits, withdrawals, low balances, suspicious account activity, and more.
  • In our app, tap More > Settings icon > Push Notifications.
  • In online banking, go to My Settings > Alerts and Notifications.
  • You may also need to change a setting in your phone to allow LAPFCU notifications.
  • Sworn personnel receive online privacy services created for LEOs and their immediate family members.

Conveniently manage your LAPFCU credit card account using VISA My Card Info. Stay aware of your account status to prevent unauthorized purchases.

  • You can also view statements, make a payment, or transfer a high-interest balance

  • Review your credit report for suspicious activity at least once a year at Annual Credit Report.com or with any of the three credit bureaus: TransUnion, Experian, Equifax.
  • If you have a loan with us, check your credit score for free on our app and in online banking.
  • Prevent someone from trying to impersonate you online.

  • Feel confident when banking online with encrypted document sharing and eSignatures.
  • To chat securely with an LAPFCU Associate, log in to our mobile banking app: Tap More > Contact > Choose Secure Email or Secure Chat.
  • Notify us in advance when you’ll be traveling so we can help keep you safe.
  • If your credit or debit card is used in an unusual way or suspicious activity is detected, we may try to contact you or block your card for your protection. Please contact us if this occurs.
  • Use digital locking mechanisms or password-protection on your devices. If you lose your phone, contact us immediately.
  • Shred financial documents, credit card statements, and receipts before disposing of them.
  • We offer free document shredding events. Check our schedule
  • Register your email with the L.A. County Assessor’s office to be notified of any title changes on your property and help prevent fraud. Create a profile on the portal
  • If you’ve paid off your mortgage, consider a credit freeze to help prevent fraud.
