Through LAPFCU's Online and Mobile Banking, you can turn cards "off" or set spending limits to protect your hard-earned money.

How to use card controls

  • In online banking, click "Services" and then "LAPFCU Card Controls" from the dropdown menu
  • In our app, choose "More" and then "LAPFCU card controls"
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions
  • Select the card you want to manage


  • Turn off/deactivate card: Lock your debit or credit card if it’s misplaced or not in use. Monthly recurring payments will continue to process.
  • Change nickname: Change the label for your card.
  • Set declines and alerts: Block merchants and transaction types.
  • Add spending limits: Set purchase limits to help you stay within your budget.
  • Set alert delivery options: Choose how you want to receive alerts.
